- There is supposed to be a hidden treasure underneath a rock that is beside the Dooneal River at the foot of the Ox Mountains in Town-a-Dreime.A man named Willie Kilgannon of Ballyglass who is still alive, dreamt three nights in succession that there was a crock of gold under this rock that he knew quite well in Town-a-Dreime.At four o'clock on the third morning Willie arose, got his spade and went off to dig for the hidden treasure. After an hour's walk he reached the rock under which the treasure was supposed to be.
