    Annaglough mill which was a mile away. Owen Brady of Rathcane was known as the Tug Brady. He was so called because at every sports Brady would be on the Tug-o-war team and he was so strong that he could pull as much as four men, but he is now dead.
    Hugh Murphy carried a full sack of corn to Doapy mill which was about two miles away. He is living in Calliagh and that was in the time when corn was scarce.
    In 1909 my father went to a fair in Mohill Co Leitrim. He walked to Smithboro station and found the train was not stopping there and he had only fifteen minutes to go to Clones to catch it. He got on a horse and car was was just in time as the train was ready to start. He reached Bellturbet and then took the narrow gauge to Mohill. He bought two colts in the fair and left Mohill that night at ten o'clock with them and started to walk home.
    About twelve o'clock that night he overtook two men on the road. they got into a chat and they talked about
