- There is one tailor in Glencar. His name is Patrick O'Shea. He lives in Shanascashill. It is he who makes the clothes for the Glencar people. He makes them in the following manner. The people get the stuff for the suit in some shop and give it to him. Then he measures the suit with the person he is going to make the suit for.
The clothes long ago were made of flannel. They made them in the following manner.
First they got wool and carded it. When it was carded they spun it. Then it was sent to a weaver to weave it when it was sent to a tailor to make a suit of it.
