    There lived a man and his wife near Peafield by the name of O Shea's. They had one son and he was in England. One day a lot of traveller's went in by the name of MCarty's and Donovan's and would not go out. There was a forge nearby and the farmer's wife went to the forge. There was crowd at the forge and the woman told them that there were traveller's in their house and that they would not go out. The blacksmith told the woman that he would put them out. He told her that he would go up in the evening and that he would pretend his was their son after coming home from England and to have great welcome for him. The blacksmith had it arranged with another man to go up to the farmer's house and to bring a horse and car. The blacksmith and the other man went to the
