When the swallow flies low, when the tide makes great noise, when the goat comes home and when the flood goes down, quickly, all these are signs of bad weather. When the swallow flies high and when a red colour is to be seen, when the sun sets, these are signs of fine weather. When the sea-gull comes in from the sea and when the starlings perch in the fields in flocks both these are signs of bad weather, and other sign of bad weather is the crows
