    La Crostha na bliadhna. It comes seven days after Christmas and whatever day it falls all those days throughout the year are supposed to be unlucky days. There is a certain Thursday in the year called "An Dardaoin Dearg" and the date of this Thursday is not known. The people never get married on a Thursday because they are afraid that it would be on that day.
