  1. Once upon a time a treasure was supposed to be hidden in a field at Lisduff which is about two miles from the town of Longford.
    One night two men had a dream that if they brought a cat and twelve candles to show them light and searched for the treasure, they would find it.
    The men commenced to dig for the treasure but a gust of wind came up out of the rocks and blew out the candles. The men became frightened and went home so they did not get the treasure.
