- Long ago the people used to bury their money or hide it in the tatch. A man named Patrick Donohoe when he was blasting stones he got three half crowns belonging to Queen Elizabeth.
Not far from where I live there is a hill in the townland of Cornacarrow. On the top of this hill a Duke lived there long ago. But when the Yeomen came to this part they hunted the Duke.
On the way he took out was by a stream. It is said that he buried his treasures in that stream.
After he went some of his companions went to look but they never got it. A man named Tom Dunne gathered a crowd of men to look for it but they never got it.- Faisnéiseoir
