There was once a leadaidhe living with his mother at the foot of Neiphin.

    (continued from previous page)
to kill a giant shark that lived at the Kings beach. All that tried failed but the leadaidhe. He got shy when she went to take his hand in marriage and he was going away when she pulled off his shoe. She said she would marry the man whose foot would fit in the shoe and so the leadaidhe had to marry her. The king gave him a bag of gold, silver and copper.
