  1. There is a hidden treasure in Lissadrone Greens about six miles from Killala in the Parish of Lacken of a horse-hide of Gold. It is supposed to be put there by a man who lived in Killogeary - Lacken. He was told one night that a band of robbers were going to rob him. He immediately prepared to collect his money and hide it in a horse hide. At about two o'clock next night he brought it with him and went to the Greens and. He was searching for a place to put it and at last got one, and the mark he had for it was the moon because it was shining on the spot
