  2. Cure for swelled glands rub your hand three times on the floor and name the Father Son and the Holy Ghost and the swelling will go away.
    Cure for bleeding put a cold Iron to the back of the head.
    Houselick is good for toothache.
    Nettle tea is good for measles.
    Dandilion tea is a good blood purifier.
    Orange lily roots is good for bleeding.
    Water cress is good for the blood.
    Iceland moss is good for consumption.
    Cure for deafness put a piece of black wool and brandy in the ear and in a couple of days the deafness will be away.
