    The land is very good and part of it is hilly and boggy.
    The wood in this district is called Drumanaghan. It is about eight square miles.
    There are two lakes in this district Lough Fern and Lough salt.
    Lough Fern is situated between Kilmacrennan and Ramelton. Lough Salt is situated about six miles from Ramelton in the direction of Kilmacrennan.
    (Ramelton). The river that flows through Ramelton is called the River Lennon. It rises in Gartan Lough near Churchill. It flows through the town of Kilmacrennan and touches Lough Fern. It flows through the Glen outside Ramelton and then it flows on until it enters Lough Swilly.
