  1. We have a lot of wild birds in this country. The robin is a common bird in this country. The robin is very small.
    The blackbird stays in this country. The blackbird eats grubs and berries. It builds its nest in a bush.
    The wren is the smallest bird in Ireland. It's colour is very dark brown.
    The crow builds on the top f a tall tree. Its nest is made of sticks.
    The thrush builds its nest in a bush. We can eat a thrush.
    The cuckoo comes to this country in the warm weather. The cuckoo goes away from this country in the autumn.
    The woodcock is a bird that comes here in the winter. People shoot woodcock and sell or eat it. The flesh of the woodcock is nice to eat.
