  1. On the top of Gowlan mountain there are two stones called "brother and sister".
It is said that a man dreamed of gold being under one of them.
He was told in the dream to bring two black horses, trace them to the stone, and remove it and then he would find the gold.
He prepared and got a black mare and a horse. When he reached the place he traced the animals to the stone and staved off to pull.
When he told them to go on: the mare turned up her heels, left the track of the two shoes in the stone and they are to be seen in it still.
She did this because she was not a horse.
The man should have fulfilled the orders he got, and then he would have found the gold.
