  1. Hen and Chickens is a favourite game with most school going children. The biggest girl takes part as the mother hen and the smaller girls join in and form the brood of chickens.
The fun starts right when the fox comes along. Another girl takes his part.
The fox starts to poke the ground and the mother hen asks "what are you poking for"?
The fox answers "I'm looking for a needle".
Hen "What do you want the needle for"?
    Fox "To sew a bag."
Hen "What do you want to sow a bag for"?
    Fox "To bring in turf".
Hen "What do you want to bring in turf for"?
Fox "To put on a fire"
Hen "What do you want to put on a fire for"?
Fox "To warm water to wash knives and forks".
Hen "What do you want to wash the knives and forks for"?
Fox "To cut the heads off your chickens."
Then the fox catches the children and kills them while the mother hen tries to save them. This ends the game when they are all killed.
