  1. "Sacri cordis Ecclesia apud Jamestown
    F.J. Reynolds me fieri fecit
    prone pote svo. D.P. Reynolds
ora pro meo Anno Domino 1776."
Kindly dictated to me by Venerable Archdeacon O Donohoe P.P., V.F.
It is a silver chalice lined with gold, it is 162 years old. The Father Reynolds in question cannot be traced but the Archdeacon told me there is record of a Father Reynolds having landed in Ireland about that time from one of the Irish Colleges abroad. Perhaps he got into the clutches of the head-hunters.
