    John Smith of Attyrory Ck on Shannon has the cure of the jaundice. It is made from herbs.
    Patrick Lavin of Drumaunrua Jamestown makes a plaster for "drawing" swellings. It is known as "Paddy's plaster." He puts in herbs in it. He would not tell me what herbs.
    Poteen is a cure for rheumatism - rub it well in -and make punch of the rest. Drink the punch.
