   again and crept into a salt bin in the corner of the kitchen. In they came and the giant prepared a great feast placed it on the table and he and the woman began to eat and drink. The giant not pleased with how little the woman was eating, kept forcing her to eat up, and finally he told her "eat up for it was the last bit ever she'd eat".
   The woman began to cry and beg him to save her but the giant laughed loudly, and sharpened a big carving knife and dragged her to the room with the others. Then he returned to the kitchen and stretched himself on a long bench by the fire and soon was snoring loudly.

   The little princess waited for no more she slipped out of the salt bin and ran home and told her father - the king - all she saw and heard. The king shocked and grieved at the loss of his daughters and the cruelty consulted the wise seers. They told him to hold a feast and invite the giant, and also the neighbouring kings and princess The giant arrived in good time, each one had to tell a story. When it came to princess Viiolet's time to tell a story, she told about two princess and what happened to them
