    He met a party of horsemen and they put him on horseback and brought him off, he never remembered anything more but he was found wandering about on Mohill fair green and both his eyes were crooked but had been perfectly straight before he was taken away.
    Another man named James Fox was brought away by the fairies when he was returning from his work to his home about one mile from Mohill, Co Leitrim.
    He was brought to a beautiful Palace where there was lovely music In this palace there was a lot of fairies making pancakes and the King of the Leprechions sat on a mushroom making fairy shoes; when James was going in, he met a girl at the door, she told him neither to eat or drink in the palace, if he did he would never be able to get back to his own
