    Our moonlighter went rambling their rent-books to view,
    They viewed them all over without fear or dread,

    They fired a few volleys which shook him with fear.
    He made them a promise before that they went,
    Until Ireland be free he would pay no more rent.
    The police being in patroll that very same night.
