    Some years ago one Little Christmas night a young man was coming home at about 11 o'clock. He took a short journey home through the fields. It was a beautiful moon-light night. He had to come through four fields and when he entered the first field he heard a whistle quite close to his ear.
    He thought it was someone who knew him that was calling him, and he
