  1. Long ago the people had different ways of buying and selling from those of the present day. They had many superstitions connected making bargains. Nowadays they have not so much of this folly. It was thought not right to sell cattle in certain days and to certain people.
    That time it was difficult for the ordinary people to get their business done because the shops were not so numerous as they are at present. There used be only one or two shops
