  1. There was a woman a very long time ago and she had one son, and he used to kill a sheep every St Martin's night. The son died before one St Martin's Eve, and the poor woman was crying as she had no one to bring her a sheep now. The door opened that moment and a man came in having a sheep. He said "stop crying, my poor women, and i will kill the sheep for you". The people afterwards said that it was St. Martin came to help the widow.
