  1. Marriages take place locally during Shrove specially on Shrove Tuesday. The unlucky days for marriages are Friday and Monday and the unlucky months our May and December. There are marches made in our district, and sometimes money is given as a dowry. There are wedding feast held at marriages and sometimes strawboys visit the house. The strawboys are disguised. They wear straw headdress. Wives do not sit with their husbands or horses at the present day.
