  1. Once upon a time a man named O'Brien was driving four cows by a fort near Ballinalee. A fairy came out and laughed at him. He saw a bag of gold with the fairy. He ran after him, but he could not catch him. When the man came back after following the fairy, one of his cows was gone. He could see her in the fort, but the fairies would not let him take her. He went to the priest and told him what happened. The priest came back with him and got the cow for him, and the fort disappeared.
