  1. Lough Gilrayway
This lake is situated between Donegal and Tyrone on the Donegal side of the border. It is named after a man called Wray, who was a robber and was followed to the bank of this lake and killed there.
    Poll-an-Mhealtóig.
A man named Ned Kelly used to distil poteen here. Before he started to run off, his whiskey, he sprinkled a jugful round about him as a drink for the fairies. Whenever the Revenue Police went out from Donegal to raid for poteen he (Ned Kelly) was always warned by music in the glen, in which, he used to distil the poteen. The glen was called Poll-an-Mhealtóig (Crony quarry). Then he would tell his helper to clear away the still and poteen and they would have plenty of time to be away before the police would arrive.
