- A Ghost StoryThere was a girl called Nora Treacy spending her Christmas holidays in her uncle's house. Every Christmas Eve (at) night, a white lady appeared and walked round an oak tree three times wringing her hands. On Christmas Eve night, at midnight, Nora went out to see the white lady. The lady beckoned to her; but she was afraid to go. So, every night, she recited the Rosary for the white lady. The next Christmas Eve night, there was a storm, and the oak tree was uprooted.
