    Once upon a time there was an old Abbey at Milltown. There were two orders of monks one order wore the white habit and the other order wore the black habit.
    When Cromwell came to Ireland he besieged the Abbey. His best marksman in the army was Captain Godfrie. He blew his cannon from Tralee Mountain and riddled the beautiful Abbey to fragments. The monks were killed and the beautiful appletrees were blackened in colour. The apples were used for making cider.
    It is said that the monks come back every century and it is said that one of them
