    the Monks and the Students of the Monastery used to pray at the well, one of the Students had sore eyes. One day when no one was near he went down to the well and prayed to God that his eyes would get better. Then he stooped down and put some of the water on his eyes. When he reached the Monastery the could see perfectly.
    Ever since that day it is believed to have in it a cure for sore eyes
