It is said that if you cry on St. Stephen's day you will cry every day during the year. If you sweep the dust out the door on a Monday you are sweeping out your luck. If you bite your fingers on a Tuesday you will get money. If you turn the mattress on your bed on a Friday it is said to be very unlucky.The "Cross-day of the Year" is said to be Friday.
