    There is a man living in this part of the county by the name of Jack Fortune.

    There is a man living in this part of the county by the name of Jack Fortune. Anytime that he gets his hair out he gathers it all up and brings it home and puts it under a large stove that is in front of the house. People of course ask him why he puts it there and he says that if everyone did that they would never get a pain in the heads. This is a fairly large stone and there is a lot of hair under it. This man is living there all his life and every fortnight he gets his hair cut and places it under that stone, and he never had a pain in his head.
