  1. Long ago the priests had no leave to say Mass. But they used to say it on rocks. There is a Mass Rock in Knockmore. The priest was giving Holy Communion to a child where he saw spies coming towards him. He let the Communion fall and he ran off and hid in a field of oats until they passed. The track of the Communion is on the rock.
    My father told me this.
