- Long ago people used to rub a frog's hand to a bad tooth to cure it. They used also to wash their hands in a stone that held water on the top as a cure for warts. The old people used to say that if you found a black snail without looking for him and rubbed him to a wart and then threw him on one of the thorns of a white thorn bush that the wart would fall off when the snail would die.
