First of all the flax was grown. Then it was cut and buried in a bog-hole for a few months. Then it was hacked and beaten and combed until it was like a person's hair. Then it was bleached and spun. Sheets and bolster covers were made out of the cotton. Basket-Making
The basket maker got eight stout sally sticks. He took four of these and he split them in the middle and he drove the other four through these. The "saiceáis" [?] was the name given to those rods.
