  1. Mitchells Meadow is a large meadow to the left of Jackies hollow (on your way from Dartrey Post Office to the Monument).
    It is called Mitchells meadow because a man named Mitchell owned it and the land around, he was evicted by the landlords for non-payment of rent. Dartrey now ownes that land.
    Thoshes wood and fields got their name from a man of that name who lived there, they also belong to Dartrey demense now.
    The Glebe land is so called because it belongs to the Rectory it is situated opposite Dartrey Post Office.
