- There is a field near my home and it is called "The Three Cornered Field" because there are corners on it. It is said that there was a church in it long ago and many ghosts were seen there. There is a lane belonging to D. Loughrey near it and that was the way corpses used to be brought to the church to be buried. The field was never ploughed. In a field next to it a man used to blowing in to a bottle. He was always seen late in the night. Other spirits were seen in it besides this man. The bean-side was often seen in it combing her hair.
