  1. The name of the townsland we are living in is Woodsgift and it is in the Parish of Urlingford
    There are three families in this townsland and nine people Kelly is the most common family name.
    There lived a man by the name of Woods in this townsland long ago and he gave his land and house as a present to Mr St George who afterwards called the place Woodsgift.
    There is one old woman living there who is over eighty The greater part of Woodsgift house is in ruins.
    The greater part of the land is good and there is about ten acres of wood but all the timber is nearly cut down now
