This is the way I make a top.
I first get a spool and cut it in the middle. In the hole that is down through the centre of the spool. I put a small stick with a point at the end of it. The top is then made and ready for spinning.
The way I make a catapult is I get two bits of rubber and a forked stick and the tongue of an old boot. I tie the rubber to the forked stick and I tie the two strips of rubber to the tongue of the boot and the catapult is then made.Michael Mullark.
