  1. The roads leading from my house to the main road - Bantry to Goleen - are Strand Road and Drishane Road.
    Strand Road
    leads through Cashelane to the western end of Drishane It is so called because it leads to Stony Beach - a strand in the western end of Drishane. This road was made about thirty five years ago by Dan Mehigan and his brother of Drishane who took it on contract for a sum of thirty pounds. It is about a quarter of a mile long.
    Drishane Road
    meets this at Stony Beach and leads from it to the eastern end of Drishane about a distance of one and a half
