- (continued from previous page)is still there and never been interfered with. A boy once attempted to dig around it, but a few days afterwards he fell from a horse and was killed. The owner then prohibited any further interference.
- This fort is in the eastern part of Rathduane. If a person went fishing in the stream in this fort a puca would come, and run away with them. He used to throw them into a bunch of briars. It is said that this was a person who wanted to fish the fort himself, and that is why it is called Áth-phúca.
