  1. Long ago people used not buy and sell the way they do now.
    Long ago and even now people give eggs and butter in the shop in exchange for goods.
    Now most people when they are buying goods or anything else they pay for them in money.
    A few years ago there was a market in Dunleer and it was held every Friday and fowl, butter and eggs were sold in it, but now there is no market held.
    The coins that were used long ago were sovereigns half-sovereigns, fourpenny pieces, four shilling pieces and crowns.
    Nowadays people labour for ground for potatoes milk
