    Saturday is an unlucky day for getting married. There is an old rhym:-
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses and
    Saturday is no day at all.
    There are no matches made in my district.
    Money is usually given but when they had no money it was usual to give a field instead.
