  1. These are the toys that are made now by little boys in their spare time - boats, tops, aeroplanes, guns, spoons, marbles, catapults, snares, bows and arrows, rush-hats, Christmas horns, and whips.
    Boats are made of wood, and they are made in the Summer, they are used for sailing on ponds. Tops are made from spools, they are used for spinning on plates or on tables, they are made at any time of the year. Aeroplanes are made of wood, they are made in the Summer. Guns are made of wood and pieces of tin. Spoons are made of wood, and they are used for scooping sand and clay. Marbles are made of blue clay and they are made in the Summer. Catapults are made of forked sticks and a piece of rubber tied
