  1. There is a large stone about a mile from our house, which is supposed to be about seven or eight ton weight. It is supposed to have been thrown by a Giant from the rock of Carrickleck. The marks of his hands are still to be seen on its surface. People have made several attempts to move it, but it is impossible.
