    Standing the rope shoring a haul is forbidden by law. The nets are from eight to ten feet in depth. The day after the opening the bailiffs come and measure the meshes of the nets. They have a block to measure them. The meshes in the bunt are eight square inches and the wings and shoulders twelve square inches. The nets are all draft nets. The net without ropes, corks, and leads costs ten pounds.
