- The main road from Listowel to Ennismore was got up by Mr. Hewson that lived in Ennismore. He gave this work to the men around. They were employed in it for several months. There are several names in that road the names are Greenville, Scotlea, Ennismore and Killocrim.
In my district there are a number of old roads such as the Gerah, the Forge Road and the Clune road. The Gerah road leads into the Greenville bog. The Forge Road also leads into the Greenville bog. The Clune road leads into a marsh which is called Gurtanein. These roads are used yet.(continues on next page)- Collector
