- There is one forge in Greenville, one at the Six Crosses and one at Bolten's Cross. The smiths who own these forges are John Mahony, Ned Buckley and Stacks. Old John Mahony was a smith and his father was another before him. Mahony's forge is situated at a cross road at the right side of the Mill Stream.
