- There was a big flood in June 1926. It flowed in over the banks and went up to Finuge. It went into many houses and lasted for two days and a night. There was very dry weather last summer. It lasted for two weeks. When the people were saving the hay it was so warm that they were not able to withstand the heat in the meadows.
