    Long ago they had no goals it was parish against parish. The ball would be thrown up in the air and the best side to kick it home won. They used have no referee. Then they began to decide it in the one field. They put down goals. The post used to be eighteen feet apart. There were two other posts put 20 feet out from each of those goal posts. If the ball went between the two inner posts it would be a goal. If the ball went between one of the inner and outer posts it would be a point
