  1. There was a school once in Kerryhead. It was a very big school. There did a man come in who was from some distant land. He had no religion; he knew nothing about God, and he started going on with the priest because it was priest that used to be teachers that time. The day was once calm, but the roof was carried off the school by the wind, although there was no wind there. That was the end of the school. The walls are there yet and there did a man go knocking it for to draw the stones to build another house, and he dropped.
